Moje povinnosti

Když jsem se před měsícem začala zajímat o to, co vůbec taková práce aupair obnáší, moc jsem toho po českém internetu nenašla. Naštěstí mi "moje" rodina poslala mail s informacemi, jak by o asi tak mělo vypadat. A na základě toho jsem se teprve mohla rozhodnout, zda to s nimi zkusím...
Zde je úvodní mail a moje komentáře, jak to vypadá v realitě ;) 

GUIDELINES

Please be up and dressed & washed by 7.45am and wake children. Vstávám cca v 7.20, v 7.35 už bývám v kuchyni. Děti budí táta.

Please get the children up, dressed and fed in the mornings.  Please ensure they are finished breakfast and ready for school by 8.30am.  I will help you for the first few days. Děti se oblékají samy, většinou je i táta "buzeruje"...co nezvládne on, dokončím já. Malou obléká máma. 

Kids Breakfast:

They like porridge, weetabix/cereal, sometimes toast and some juice.

You need to ask which one they want.

C. hair should be tied back in either pony tail, pig tails or plaits .

Každé ráno dělám dětem vločkovou kaši a nebo cereálie. Vlasy si ode mě zatím malá nechá učesat jen občas. Jinak češe máma. 

Clothes

Boys dress in school uniforms, C. in leggings, top or dress, etc..  It is helpful to have clothes prepared from the night before. Děti se oblékají samy, jen je občas třeba je popohnat. Malou zatím obléká máma. 

Lunch

Sandwich, yogurt, fruit and drink. Oběd nosí děti s sebou do školy/školky. Zatím dělám buď sendviče a nebo tortilly. + každý má v batůžku pití, ovoce, jogurt...

Dinner

Please prepare vegetables for dinner, I will explain on the day.

We generally eat dinner as a family and tidy up after, i.e. clear away plates, put in dishwasher & wipe table with clean cloth. Večeři vaří maminka, uklízí většinou oni, nenechají mě to dělat. 

ACTIVITIES (generally) Rozpis jejich kroužků a aktivit...

Mon – F., football at 7pm

Tues - M. goes to keep-fit, yoga or takes the dog to obedience classes

Wed - M. goes keep-fit or horse-riding

Thursday – F. has scouts at 7.30pm. M. goes to yoga

Friday – P. + F.  have football practice at 6.45pm

Saturday – O. has football at  11.00am

Sunday – Some football matches, family trips etc

Please ensure all go outside to play any day it is dry and don’t watch tv all day or sit inside all day . Opravdu jim nesmím dovolit koukat se na telku celý den :)  KDyž je hezky, jsme převážně venku na zahradě.  O. & C. like to play on their bike, tractor.  Also they like going on swings  (weather permitting). 

Parents put the children to bed most nights, washes their faces, hands and teeth & tells a story if time.

Please ring P. or M. immediately if there is any accident or emergency.

Saturday & Sunday are free days for you, apart from occasional babysitting (we will give you notice of this)

€100 pocket money usually paid by M. on a Friday night.

There are plenty of au pairs in the surrounding areas that meet up in Drogheda at weekends (in a few weeks I'm sure you will meet them), I can put you in touch with some.

HOUSEHOLD CHORES

Please do any household chores during the morning when children are at school and/or during the day while the children are playing and engaged.

When children at school/safely playing, please tidy kitchen, clean table, chairs and brush up crumbs.  Empty & fill dishwasher.  Make beds, open windows in bedrooms for a while, empty bins, put on some laundry, etc. A taky skládám oblečení z pračky. Tento denní úklid musím dělat opravdu každý den. Zabere to tak 15 min času (na začátku to bylo tak 30 :D )

Následující odstavce jsou věnovány úklidu v určité dny. Stejně mám ale pocit, že každý den uklízím celý barák :) 

Monday

Downstairs dust surfaces, floors need to be vaccumed & tiles mopped. 

Downstairs WC, cif in sinks, shine mirror & tap, change towel, bleach in toilet
Tuesday

Upstairs dust surfaces, floors need to be vaccumed & tiles mopped.

Upstairs bathrooms, cif in sink, shower & bath, disinfect toilet - bleach, shine mirrors & taps.

Wedensday

umýt mikrovlnku a sporák

General Tidy =posbírat oblečení a hračky po domě

Every 2^nd week please change beds & launder sheets & duvet covers

Thursday 
prach v přízemí, rychlej úklid dolní koupelny, umýt dřezy

Friday

Tady navíc uklízím obě koupelny-jen rychle
vyluxovat přízemí

Address any chores / overlooked / catch up.

EDIT: úklid už mi trvá jen cca hodinu a kousek :)

General

It is a good idea to put the children’s clothes out the night before school to save time in the morning.

O. and C. have to be collected and walked home from school at 1.50pm, this is a 7 minute walk each way, please use buggy for C. and hold O.'s hand. F. finishes at 2.50pm and will walk home by himself.

Doma jsme tak kolem 14.00. Rodiče se vrací až kolem 18.00...4 hodiny hrůzy :D Né, občas je to fajn...

Please ensure the play room is kept tidy after play and toys are put away neatly. Tak tady se moc neangažuju. Hraček mají snad tuny a já vůbec netuším, kam co patří...

The children should  help at this.

It is better to do 1 or 2 laundry washes every day to save the basket filling up with clothes. Na začátku jsem mamku upozornila, že prát neumím. Buď dá prát ona a já pak skládám a nebo peru jen jednoduché věci jako povlečení, ručníky atd. 

After dinner each evening we generally clean up together, you are then free for the evening.

Please don’t use your computer or phone  during the day as accidents can happen very quickly with children.  You are free to use internet all evening and all weekend.

 If you don’t understand anything please keep asking me or P. to repeat, we do not mind this and understand that it may be difficult for you.

We appreciate that you will wish to improve your English and experience Irish culture and family life.

We will have you involved in as many family activities as you may wish.
